Snowbasin is known for diverse and seemingly endless terrain. You will find over 3,000 acres of meticulously manicured groomers, numerous open bowls with fresh powder fields days after a storm, chutes and couloirs, stunning views, numerous summit-to-base runs, and surprisingly short lift lines.

And then there are the majestic, award winning lodges and gourmet fare, high speed, base-to-summit gondolas, and extensive snowmaking system, which compliments the 400+ inches of annual powder Snowbasin receives.

The site of the Downhills, Super-Gs and Combined alpine events of the 2002 Olympics, this is truly a world class ski experience without the hassles and crowds that designation often implies.  Snowbasin currently hosts the Winter Dew Tour final stop and the XTERRA USA Championships.

Additional amenities include full-service rental, repair and retail shops, state licensed day care and kids programs, as well as a Snowsports Learning Center to help make the most of your experience with more than 100 certified instructors. Adaptive programs are also available.

Snowbasin is less than 50 minutes from the SLC International Airport on excellent highways and roads, and only a few miles from the restaurants, nightlife and shopping of Ogden.
